First things first – You will need to create and establish your business brand identity. (The visible elements of a brand (such as colors, design, logotype, name, symbol) that together identify and distinguish the brand in the consumers’ mind.
Create a digital brand that conveys your business accurately. (a powerful logo that can convey your business on it’s own) Add a witty tagline!

2. Online Strategy
Next, in order to determine your online strategy, you will need to clearly define your business goals.
Here are some basics to get you started:

Create Social Media Pages that educate and inform. (become a leader, consultant, an authority in what you do best). Don’t sell. More on online etiquette here.
- Add your business to as many directories as you can. (tells users where your online presence resides and what you do) example, yelp, yellowpages (for a list of directory sites click here). Engage in groups and blogs. (it’s the new way to network)
- Build a website that is engaging and attracts, as well as retains your target audience. (a successful website will result in a conversion) Add call to action buttons, free gifts, Ebook etc.
